Finally , I UPDATE my BLOG

Sorry for not being able to update my blog coz have been quite busy lately.

Well, yesterday we attended my hubby's cuzzin's engagement. Its the first time for me & Neelu attending a function held by my husband's family(wif all his unlces & aunts around). Anyway, everything went well. We were treated very well & in fact all of them made us feel so comfortable. We enjoyed ourselves thru out the event.

My Lil princess attended the party wearing a new suit her Dadi bought her, matched wif the bangles I bought. My MIL gave me a suit to wear for that party too, its of the same colour as Neelu's suit, so mummy & daughter wear matching SUITS..

After the engagement party, we went to another fren's place in Teban Gardens for their housewarming party & we finally reached home at abt 8:30pm.

My princess must have been so tired, that after giving her a warm shower, she went to dreamland by 9:30pm (me too joined her soon after)

Thats abt all I can think of typing now, coz me a lil bz at werk.

My Lil Princess turns 18 months old!!!!

The 16th of August 2006 marks my Princess's

18 month old birthday

We decided to have a small celebration for her.

We picked her up from my in-law's place & went off to Bedok Interchange.

We start off with dinner @ her favourite place, which she called "nonalds"(McDonalds). She had her usual nuggets & fries dipped in Curry Sauce.

After dinner, to mark her turning 18 month old, we gave her the indepence to drive on her own (but obviously under close watch!)

She look so happy & Proud too!! Here's a clip of her "driving"!

After her drive around session, we went to a cake shop to get a SMALL cake for her.

At home, we took out her SMALL cake from the box, put on the candle & this is what happen next.... (watch the clip again)

FUN WEEKEND

I AM JUST SO TIRED!!!!!!!!!!! However, i feel happy coz my weekend was such a good one! Here how it goes:- SATURDAY Waken up by my lil Princess @ 8:15am, because she wanna "walk walk"!! Anyway, since we have plans, so I woke up, bathe & change her. Turn on the TV to her fabourite channel, Playhouse Disney & prepare her breakfast. Fed her a bowl of Honey Stars + Coco Crisps. After her breakfast, her papa woke up too. He gotta go send the car for the 1st 1k servicing. By abt 11am, my princess took her "afternoon" nap. While she was having her nap, I quickly pack her stuff & download all the pics I need to send for developing into a CD. Coz by the time Papa come home, we gotta leave for JB. One of my cuzzin, just bought a house in JB, near Jusco Tebrau City! So that means we will be shopping !!!!!!!!! Anyway, developing digi pics in JB is sooooo cheap, and I have over 300 pics to be developed!

By abt 2pm, we left home & head for JB. We arrived @ ard 3:30pm. Most of my cuzzins & my bro were already there. Once we arrived, my cuzzin, Mimd(proud home owner), took out the swimming poool for the kids :) And they go splish splashing the afternoon away, while we the adults R&R and snack away.

After swimming, the kids had a Dance Party. Check out the clip!

In the evening, by abt 8pm, we went to JUSCO. Its a HUGE shopping centre. We did some shopping & I bought this comforter set for only RM200.00!! The actual price was RM700+. On that day is also one of my cuzzin, Idil's 26th Birthday. So after shopping, we went for dinner @ Secret Recipe. Had lots of good food. And the kids had such a great time too. Watch the clip & you'll know why! After dinner, we bought the Cheezy Bite Pizza home, again to snack on while we played "taboo" at home! While the kids were sleeping, the adults PARTY!!!!! SUNDAY Today, R&R again. While some of them went out to buy breakfast, I took Neelu & Syehnaz(my niece) to the bathroom on the 2nd floor to bathe (more like let them play). The toilet comes with a Jacuzzi. So the gals took ages to "bathe". After their bath, gave them breakfast & they played till my princess got so tired that she fell asleep. Thats when my fun begin!

Me, my aunt & my 14 yr old cuzzin relax in the JACUZZI!! Can you imagine 3 big ladies in that tub??!!! Hmm... once i rcv those photos , I will uplpoad them, for now I'll leave it to your imagination!

By noon, we left my cuzzin's place. Head off to another JUSCO, do more shopping & finally went home by 8pm! ** We were lucky coz not caught in any traffic jam @ the checkpoint on both days :) ** Ok, enjoy these pics for now!

Happy Belated Birthday to Singapore

Also to those who read my blog & happen to share the same birthdate with Singapore,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU tooooo....

Well, yesterday was the second time Neelu celebrate National Day & went to see the fireworks. Yesterday, together with my cuzzin Naz & his wife Hajira, we drove down to Marina to see the fireworks. Neelu & Najwa dressed to the colour of our Singapore Flag or as Neelu say, " Shi-po-peg".

We left home at abt 6:30pm, head down to an open field by the road side near Marina South. Parked our car by the side & "climb" the slope to the open field. The gals were happily running around playing wif the ball while waiting for the fireworks which were scheduled to start at 8:00pm. However, abt 15 mins to 8:00pm, the gals were getting sleepy & tired. Especially, lil Najwa whom made a "formal" request to her daddy. She said "sleep"!! Naz & Hajira rejected her application & help try to keep her awake. Naz talk to her non-stop & Hajira made funny faces as well as some "juggling" acts. Hahaha.. but their effort paid off! Lil Najwa stayed awake thru out the fireworks display, & was awake thru our dinner @ Zam Zam after that.

However, during dinner Neelu decided to show us how true a Singaporean she is by doing a Merlion act just before our food came!!! Hmmm.. also thanks to her Papa whom made her stunt possible by letting her drink the green tea. After her Merlion act, her papa & me rushed her to toilet where there is a wash basin, to wash her up, removed her socks that was affected greatly be her Merlion act. Then I took her back to our table, which the waiter had cleaned up & just finished mopping the floor too. All this while her Papa a.k.a her "partner" washed his pants that was also affected by her Merlion act.

Oh yeah, also sorry Hajira for the lil souvenior you got from Neelu's Merlion act.

After dinner, on our way home, the gals sat down quietly while watching their favourite Barney till they reach home safely. By almost 10:30pm, my Neelu went to her dreamland & me too "knocked out" Well, there goes the public holiday that we had been waiting for!!!!!

Anyway, I will be looking forward to this Saturday coz we gonna drive up to my cuzin, Mimid's new home in JB & spend the night there :)

Coz it was her birthday yesterday , so we will be having a belated birthday celebration for her..

The one on the right, is her (mimid), in the centre is my cuz's wife, Lin & on the left is ME... Hmmm.. that pic was taken abt 6 years back, so that explains why I loook soooooooooo different :(

NEW , NEW , NEW ....

Well, I am back today to share a few things wif u guys...

1st - My hubby just got a new job & starter werk officially on the 1st August 2006.. Some maybe wondering, whats so great abt new job?? Well, to me its something I've alway been looking forward to....

Because for this new job my hubby has to be in formal wear...

We finally bought a car.

Its a Chevrolet Aveo Sedan 1.4 in my favourite color

SPORTS BLUE

Well not a big fancy car, but just nice for the three of us to roam around in comfortably. Coz in his previous job he was given a company lorry to drive , so we get to roam around for free.

Therefore, got used to having a vehicle that we find it very difficult to live without one, especially having to send my lil Princess to her Dadi's home early morning & fetch her in the evening...

This was also the reason why I was on leave last week for quite some time. Just spending time with lil princess & hubby before he start his new job :)
