My Lil Japanese Doll *UPDATED*

Yesterday, 23rd July 2006 is another day of victory for my lil gal. Dressed up as a Japanese Baby, she won in the Multi-Racial Baby Show 2006 organised by a Community Centre.

She is the Champion in the Category B

( for babies aged 12-18mths)..

She made us so happy & proud again.

Well, since I am quite bz now , I will update more on what happened over the weekend in another post later, till then.. sit back & enjoy these

Neelu's 1st Haircut

On 15th July 2006, we went to Juniors League @ Suntec to give Neelu her 1st proper hair cut. Suprisingly, she sat down obidiently thru out the session.

Maybe because she was distracted by the small LCD screen in front of her that was playing the Hi-5 on it.

She was happily clapping to the music while the "uncle" snip snip her lil curls.

At the end of it, she was rewarded wif some stickers & sweets. But I felt a lil sad, seeing her pretty curls on the floor...

KIDS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN!!!!

On Monday, my bro & wife collected the keys to their HOME!!

Congratulations!!!

Therefore, yesterday we went to "see-see look-look" at the flat. Its a nice place & all done up. So happy for them coz dun have to worry abt renovation & stuff like that, although theirs is a Brand New Flat.. Location:- Very far leh.... (CCK)

Anyway, yesterday my cuzzins & aunt were there too. As usual when the kids meet up they can create HAVOC. Since we stepped into the house till we finally left at 10:30pm, Neelu & Salman were playing , running & jumping around NON-STOP!!! Aiyah.. Really dunno what to say abt these 3 lil monkeys.....

Its MONDAY again!!

Its Monday again! Back to werk again...

It was quite a tiring weekend for all of us, So lemme just summarize it:-

• Friday 7th July 200

Me & hubby on leave. Spent the first half of the day just lazing @ home wif Neelu. Left home later in the afternoon, to settle some stuff for our new car. Then went to my aunt's place coz my cuzzin getting engaged the next day. Planned to go home that night, but we helped out till 2am & hubby fell asleep, so spend the night there.

• Saturday 8th July 2006

My cuzzin sent us home in the morning to change & went back to aunt's place. Left for the bride-to-be place @ 3:15pm. Came back to my aunt's place again @ ard 6pm. Stayed there till abt 9pm & left for home coz I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TIRED!!!!!!

• Sunday 9th July 2006

On this day, for the first time in my life, I DROVE a CAR!!!! I went for my first driving lesson today @ 9:30am sharp. Hubby stayed @ home wif Neelu. I was so nervous & scared . I was also a lil worried initially coz I have to leave 2 babies @ home :) .

Anyway, thank GOD everything went quite well except for a few hiccups here & there. Overall, its quite GOOD coz both me & the instructor SURVIVED ... Hahahahaha...

In the later part of the day, we went to Tampines Mall to do some shopping for hubby @ G2000. He has to revamp his wardrobe. Coz for his new job which he gonna start in August, he has to be in OFFICE WEAR meaning business shirt & pants. So there GOES all his jeans & t-shirts! Managed to get a few pair of pants & shirts.

And even got a Raincoat (Disney Princess again) for my lil Neelu...

Over the weekend, there is nothing much to do, so just laze ard at home, Saturday afternoon, went to settle some stuff in Bukit Timah & then to Ikea to help transport some stuff my in-laws bought for my FIL's new shop. Later in the evening, my cuz & family came over to just sit down & chit chat, while our gals play together. That night I was channel surfing & happen to watch a Tamil movie( which i SELDOM watch), it is very interesting that I watched it till END. Its abt this young couple who fell in love, the gal's parents wanted her to marry someone else, she therefore persuaded her BF to elope wif her, they did just that & got married. Her family searched for her & later when found them, pretend to be nice to them, brought them back & forced them to break the marriage. She first refused but after seeing the BF badly beaten up & almost killed, she gave in to her father's demand. Years passed by, & one day she saw him @ road side. She is already happily married with a child, but for him , HIS life destroyed! He became MAD. She was so devastated. Really SAD! I found out from Hajira the next day that this is actually a TRUE story! Hmm.... Life is so UNPREDICTABLE! This movie just brought back some sad memories :( (Anyway, I'll always pray that wherever you are now, you are just as happy as I am & moved on in life)
